Map of Somewhere series
Mixed media on paper. After a few years of painting with water-mixable oils, I needed to explore and find a new level of freedom. I did.

White pen covering and unifying the color and shapes beneath. Groundedness through the two L-shapes gave rise to the feeling of two dancers. Comes from my 25 years of Indian dance - fluid lines and rhythmic gaps.
